Original S10 250mm Carving Trucks

About the Original S10 Trucks

Original S10 longboard trucks pack the carving power you need to take out the biggest hills in the world. As a bigger guy, or a little guy facing big terrain, the S10s will carry your carves and give you the skateboard confidence you need to take it to the big stuff. No other longboard truck sports such a wide hanger along with such a tight turning radius, feel the differnce the worlds widest carving trucks can make to your longboarding.

Is your longboard compatible?

We designed Original longboard trucks to carve as hard as possible. OS trucks boast the greatest degree of board-lean in the longboard truck industry. While unlimited board-lean is impossible on a skateboard, we squeezed every last degree into the turning radius of Original S-Series trucks.
The quick snapback of Original’s patented spring-loaded technology will take your carves to the next level, but your board better be ready for it! Be aware: Unlike traditional bushing trucks, you cannot drop-through mount Original S-Series trucks. If you ride a drop-through deck, don’t worry-just topmount your OS trucks. Topmounted Original trucks still sit lower to the ground than topmounted bushing trucks.
A wise longboarder once said, “You’re just one step away from catching wheelbite and going home.” Avoid a preventable wipeout by making sure that your wheels never touch the bottom of your deck. Check out this short video to learn how to choose the right pair of Original trucks for you.

Customize your Original S10 (250mm) Longboard Trucks

We have developed three longboard truck sizes, each to hit a specific rider / riding type. Similarly we have also developed three different tension springs to expand our riding possibilities. Each truck size and spring tension has a completely different feel.

We recommend that heavier riders (160 Lbs and over) as well as riders who have a lot of longboarding experience on traditional longboard trucks (randal, paris etc) go for the wider sizes of Originals (S8 200mm or S10 250mm) and for the heavier tension spring options.

Lighter riders (less than 160Lbs), beginners (who will enjoy the ease of turning) and riders who surf, and want a more surfy ride, may want to lean towards the mid or small sized hangers and the lighter tension springs.

Hi,my name is Ilya. I’m from Russia from city Moscow. Love the carving around town and fast carving from the mountain ,so I chose stable and maneuverable Original S10 Trucks , they have a width of 250 mm and is designed for long or wide Decs They have increased the understeer, so you need risers or deck with a cutout for the truck or drop trough. S10 installed as top mount . I go for another longboards with pendants gulwing sidewinder and ronin .Management remind sidewinder ,but the stability at high speed ronin while ronin is much cheaper and very good quality. S10 have a low height, so they do not get tired when pushing on a longboard , in comparison with other pendants that are much higher. The design uses a spring and not a bushing ,it is cheaper than any good bushing ,have best quality in the management . My weight is 90kg ( 195 lbs ) ,for city cruise, I have enough black springs longboard is very maneuverable if I ride with steep mountains – I put red springs on trucks and get excellent stability and handling at speed . In Russia at my address in Moscow, the delivery was 10 days the parcel was stolen during the whole journey. Package came complete and neatly Packed . Thank you 🙂 . I am very happy with S10 trucks and I advise you to buy them and you forget the usual trucks only once Original ride on S 10 trucks 🙂

My name is Andrei, and I bought these trucks a long time ago. Didn’t get around to writing a review until now because I finally came back to the original website to replace them. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. I loved these trucks, and I rode them combined with my pintail 40 maple (also an original product). Most importantly, I loved how easily I could carve and turn on a dime. These were absolutely fantastic for cruising around college and dodging people. I got a lot of people who complimented the trucks and board because they’re so out of the ordinary. However, I’ll be honest here – they’re also a bit obnoxious looking. I was never bothered by them but some of my friends who tried the board would trip on them. Took some getting used to.

Now, I’m going to address the complaints and issues people had with these on YouTube. When I bought the board I was in 6th grade and weighed close to nothing. Because of that, I had the regular black springs and these worked great for me for a long time. Now, however, for the last two years I’ve been a fat college student of 180 pounds. The black spring wasn’t cutting it anymore as it didn’t have a high enough spring constant not to wobble with my weight.

The reason I am out shopping for new trucks is that I rode them without fixing the broken cam I had, as one cracked due to over-tightening on my part (Don’t ever over tighten. The youtube tutorial these guys have on dealing with trucks explains why well). I rode the board unknowingly with a cracked cam and super tightened spring to make up for it and it was still wobbly. Over time riding these trucks like that all of last semester wore out the metal part over the cams where it touched the truck body, and now they wobble like crazy because it doesn’t fit properly anymore. However, this might also be due to the fact that these trucks are over 8 YEARS OLD. I only had the cams break due to user error. If you feel the need to tighten the trucks because you want to bomb a fat hill, here’s some advice – Use another board. These trucks are not designed for any speed higher than 30-40 miles per hour, so don’t even try (I speak from experience).

If you still want to buy these trucks, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cruiser/amazing carver, go for it. Once you get over their obnoxious proportions you’ll realize it’s worth spending this price. I’m buying s8’s now because I want to try something different, but don’t hesitate to buy these first. I’m glad I did.

My current long board setup is Original Pintail 43 with upgraded S10 trucks and upgraded RAD Advantage 74mm, 80A, 61MM contact. I use this setup with the black spring for every day use and the white spring whenever I want to go down hilling. The S10 trucks are amazing when you want more balance and stability. It also provide you with so much more room for upgrades in wheel size. They ride so smooth with my RAD 74mm wheels, and they turn so good with the black spring. It definitely feel like surfing across the streets. This S10 trucks setup allows me to turn very quickly to dodge all those people walking to classes. I highly recommend this trucks to anyone looking for a fun setup with quick response and smooth riding. I was debating for days to order the S10 trucks, but I was glad that I made the decisions to purchase this board. This was definitely worth the money and upgrade.

As a AARP member these trucks are the bomb on my 50 inch maple lam board. I am a pretty big dude @ 6’3 and 250 and my white springs fit the bill for the black waves on the western side of Michigan. Stock up on a set of cams when you order these trucks as they are a wearable part!!!! Stability is bar none as I can sleep standing with this footprint.

great truck. I put it on my longboard and it’s wonderful. It’s beautiful to see because it makes my skate slender. Easy to use, soft carving.

I was looking for trucks as I had a beautiful carving experience on modified freebord alpha trucks which were super wide. This are the only I could find and additionally they have the spring technology.

Reminded me or riding my dads old banzai board from the 70s with the dual metal springs as bushings. These truck truely make you think your surfing the pavement. The only down side is finding the correct board to wheel size ratio or you’ll have to deal with wheel bite. Wouldn’t ever go back to regular trucks after riding these!

These things will change everything. I learned to surf before I learned to skate, and since then, I have been on a quest to find a board that feels like riding a wave. If you’re the same, look no further. I’m a small rider, at around 115lbs, so the standard springs are great for me for everything from tearing up some bowls to people slalom on campus, but the heavy springs turn any deck into a downhill monster. Seriously, the most versatile trucks I have ever ridden. Stable at high speed, crazy turn radius at low speed, and fun no matter the skill level. They definitely take a second to get used to, just because they are so different from anything else on the market, but the learning curve is gentle, and you can easily learn all the nuances of the trucks on any setup. Happy riding from the ATL!
